CASCO is a voluntary land vehicle insurance that protects the vehicle owner against unforeseen expenses in the event of damage, theft or theft of the vehicle.
The CASCO policy can be purchased for all types of vehicles – cars or trucks, buses of various sizes, tractors, motorcycles or trailers.
CASCO insurance covers losses related to:
- road traffic accident;
- poor-quality road surface, for example, when falling into a pit;
- theft or robbery of a vehicle;
- malicious actions of third parties;
- fire;
- natural disaster;
- broken car windows;
- falling objects onto the vehicle;
- damage caused by animals;
- stopping movement (tow truck);
- initial cost insurance (the cost of a new vehicle does not decrease during the year);
- insurance in case of stoppage of use (the ability to get a car for rent for the period of car repair).
HOW MUCH IS THE INSURANCE POLICY COST?
The price of the CASCO policy, or the amount of the insurance premium, is calculated individually, taking into account the influencing factors:
- the cost of the vehicle;
- age, make and model of the vehicle;
- the status of the vehicle owner – natural or legal person;
- type of vehicle use;
- insurance history of the policyholder;
- the chosen insurance coverage, or the risks to be insured;
- the amount of deductible – the larger it is, the cheaper the policy price;
- the territory in which the policy is valid;
- the procedure for paying for the CASCO policy – immediately or in parts (parts 2-12).
